Eligibility for Ticket Collection in Railway:  Candidates must possess 10th with minimum 50 % of marks for Railway TC

 Aspirants should be of age limit 18 to 25 years.

Those who have completed their diploma or 12th class can also apply for the same. Graduates are also qualified for this post provided they are not above the specified age limits. 

Relaxation in age will be given to the reserved categories like SC/ST and OBC applicants.

Railway TC Exam Pattern:

Candidates applying for Ticket Collector need to appear in the Written Exam conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board in Indian Railway. On the basis of performance and merit list in the Written Exam candidates go through the medical tests after clearing need to take the proper training in a particular Station or Route.

Railway RRB TC Syllabus:

Railway TC Exam consists of MCQ based questions from the following subjects.

1.     General Awareness
2.     Aptitude
3.     Mathematics
4.     General English

Selection Procedure:

Appliers are appointed on the basis of their presentation in two successive stages of Written Examination.

STAGE 01: Written Examination
STAGE 02: Verification of documents

RRB Mumbai Registration:

Applicants have the options to apply either online or through offline. Through offline mode, they can download the application form and send this to the official address of the RRB Mumbai. Do tag the required credentials in support of the claims like education, caste, medical, age experience etc. in Photostat copy with the application form and send this to the RRB Mumbai address. Write name of the post on top of the envelope and submit to RRB Mumbai.

How to Apply online for RRB  ?

1. Log on through the website of RRB (http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/) to which the candidate wants to apply.

2. Click on the “Online Application” link.

3. Click on the “New Registration” link.

4. Fill the basic details carefully & select the post applied for.

5. Fill the other details carefully and submit the application form.

6. Registration Number & Password will be displayed on the screen.

7. Login using the Registration Number and Password.

8. Fill other relevant personal details.

9. Now pay the fee through Net Banking/ debit/ credit card/ challan form/ Pay-in-slip in any bank rather than SBI.

10. Download the blank “Template” by clicking on the link “Download Template”.

11. Affix your color photograph (of size 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm), clear left hand thumb impression,

Signature and also copy the declaration

12. Scan the duly filled “Template” in prescribed format.

13. Submit the application form and take the printout copies of application form for future use.

14. Even after final submission if a candidate wishes to make any modifications.

15. Candidates have to pay Rs.100/- for modification for all category candidates.
